Card Puller

When excessive insertion and extraction forces are not found in the installation, or a mounting channel is not available, and there is space on the printed circuit board edge, a simple card puller is sometimes the answer. They mount on the front edge of the printed circuit board by means of a bolt, screw, or rivet, and allow for a firm grip for installation or removal of the board from the connector. We quoted one company that claimed: "The only reason I want the puller is to give my assembly people something to put their pliers on."
